The Macon Telegraph is looking to document Hurricane Helene’s impact on Bibb County — and we’re hoping you can help.
We’re asking our readers to share their photos of the storm before, during and after it passed through the Macon area. Helene hit the area in the early-morning hours Friday as a Category 1 hurricane before it reduced to a tropical storm.
Forecasters warned extensive damage was possible, though Macon appeared to have less serious harm than other regions of Georgia.
