‘Every deal is a bargain’ at this store opening soon in Warner Robins
A liquidation discount retail chain that got its start in Middle Georgia more than three years ago is opening its fourth location, this time in Warner Robins.
The new Deals Outlet is going in at 2191 Watson Blvd., Suite E, in the former Big Lots location. The new bin store also is the popular discount chain’s second Middle Georgia location.
The Warner Robins store is expected to open in early March, said Salem Okasha, co-owner of the Deals Outlet discount chain. The new store’s Facebook page already has 3,000 followers.
What to expect at a Deals Outlet
Known for its bargains, Deals Outlet sells overstock, closeouts, returns and surplus merchandise from major retailers.
The merchandise comes mostly from Amazon truckload purchases, Okasha said.
“Our main thing is to liquidate whatever we can,” he said.
All sorts of goods are for sale, including small appliances, household items, clothing, shoes, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, linens, toys, gifts, toiletries, pet supplies and even food such as breakfast bars and chips.
The store’s slogan is, “Where every deal is a bargain.”
The bulk of the merchandise is not priced by item, Okasha explained.
Most merchandise goes into bins, with everything selling at $10 the first day, $8 the second day, $6 the third day, $4 the fourth day, $2 the fifth day and $1 on the sixth and last day of the weekly cycle.
The store closes for a day to restock, and the process starts all over again. Most everything sells each week, with the best deals sold on the first day after restocking, Okasha said.
“You’ll see a lot of things in the bins that’s worth $50 and up, and most of this stuff will fly away within the first couple of hours,” he said. “If you see a Stanley Cup that’s sold online for like $50, it’s a good buy for $10.”
Because the bins are not restocked during the weekly run and the price of the merchandise continues to drop, more good deals can be found throughout the week, he said.
‘Every day is a deal’ at Deals Outlet
“Every day is a deal, because, I mean, you’ll never pay a retail price here,” Okasha said. “We don’t price by the item. We price by the day.”
Clothing and shoes restock more frequently, and clothing prices drop $8 to $4 to $1.
The store also offers “prime deals” that are placed on shelves and stay at a fixed $20 price. Additionally, when the store gets a lot of the same product, that product also may be placed on a shelf for a set price.
“We don’t ever put them at the retail price,” Okasha said. “We put them at 50, 40, 60 — whatever percentage (off the retail price) that’s acceptable, and we sell it at that price.”
Additionally, Deals Outlet offers 24-hour auctions via its Facebook group, Middle Georgia Online Auction, on higher priced items such as a dehumidifier. The highest bid at the end of the 24 hours wins. The Facebook group has 9,300 members.
Bin items are sold “as is,” but each store has a testing station for customers to try items before purchasing. Merchandise purchased during the online auction have a limited return period.
The 42,000-square-foot Warner Robins location also will serve as a distribution center to centralize inventory and improve consistency across the retail chain’s stores.
About 25,000-square-feet of the Warner Robins store is dedicated to the merchandise showroom.
Shopping at Deals Outlet is ‘like a treasure hunt.’
Some examples of the merchandise on bins in the distribution area of the Warner Robins store on a recent visit included an Aicutti Air Compression Massager, a Bialetti Moka Express, a Voluas Automatic Pet Feeder, and a Wattne Paraffin Wax machine for hands and feet.
A few more examples include a Jixin City Fire Hero intellect block set for children age 3 and up, a Govee Strip Light 2 Pro, a KM20 Karaoke Machine, and a Harry Potter Wizard Chess Set.
“That’s the fun of it,” Okasha said. “It’s like a treasure hunt.”
The first Deals Outlet opened Sept. 1, 2022, at 311 Ga. 49 North, Suite 280, in the Peach Shops at Byron. The Byron store is about 2,500-square-feet with about 1,500-square-feet dedicated to the showroom.
The Byron location’s liquidation cycle starts on Saturday, with the store closing on Friday to restock. Its Facebook page has 8,700 followers. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
The retail chain’s other stores are in Florida: One in Tallahassee opened Oct. 18, 2024, and another in Gainesville opened on Aug. 14, 2025.
