Gambler turns $5 bet into slot machine jackpot at Arizona casino. ‘Wow, so lucky’

A lucky gambler walked away from an Arizona casino with a big jackpot prize.

The player sat at a Lightning Cash slot machine at Gila River Resorts & Casinos, Lone Butte, the casino said in an Aug. 11 Facebook post.

The visitor bet $5, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.

“Lucky winner at Lone Butte Casino turned a $5 spin into $60,363.58,” the casino said in the post.

The gambler had a remaining credit of $26.10.

“Wow, so lucky!” one person commented on Facebook.

Gila River Resorts & Casinos, Lone Butte is in Chandler, which is within the Phoenix metro area.
