Bond set for Macon murder suspects, including mom charged in baby's death
A judge set bond Thursday at $150,000 for a Macon mother accused of killing her 5-month-old son last spring.
KaUndre Sharde Orr, 24, was eligible for bond because she has been at the jail since her December arrest and has yet to be indicted.
Her baby boy, Alexander Carr, was found unresponsive April 20 at a house on Cypress Drive. He later died. Authorities deemed that the cause of death included "blunt impact injuries" to his head, neck and torso.
In another case, bond was set at $50,000 for 19-year-old murder suspect Felton Lee King III of Warner Robins.
King and his brother were jailed the day after Christmas in the alleged slaying of 17-year-old Kaytlyn Foster at Westminster Apartments on North Atwood Drive in Macon.
Foster, shot Dec. 23, died two days later.
Authorities said King's younger brother, who is also charged with murder, was Foster's boyfriend.
Thursday in court, Felton King's lawyer said King was with another girl in another room at the apartment when Foster was fatally shot.
At the time, King was out on bond on aggravated assault and gang charges related to a shooting episode in Houston County.
