Have you seen this man? Bibb County deputies say he has info on triple homicide
Bibb County deputies need the public’s assistance to locate a Macon man with information on a triple homicide that occurred in October, according to a Monday news release from the sheriff’s office.
Titustavius Freeman Jr. “may have information that is extremely important pertaining to a death investigation that occurred on Oct. 18, 2025, on Williams Street” deputies said in the news release. The incident led to the death of Quantayrias De’Monte Townsend, 27, Brandon Devonta Thomas, 21, and Markell Bonner Jr., 16.
Freeman doesn’t have any warrants pertaining to the investigation, according to deputies.
Townsend was transported in a personal vehicle to a local hospital before succumbing to his injuries, deputies said. Thomas and Bonner were found in the 500 block of Williams Street, and Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced both of them dead on scene. They were all shot.
Thomas and Townsend were brothers, according to Coroner Leon Jones. Over 30 shell casings were scattered within a 30-foot-stretch on the pavement, according to pictures taken from Jones.
Suspect named, charged
Deputies arrested and charged Rekeymia Shatayla Henley, 21, with three counts of murder and destruction of evidence.
She allegedly drove Townsend to the local hospital where he died, according to records from the sheriff’s office. Her wallet and driver’s license were found in that vehicle, as well as a round of ammunition under the driver’s seat and a misfired round in the driver’s side door. The car was found at the Quick Zip gas station at 1800 Pio Nono Ave.
More than half of the shell casings left at the scene of the shooting was the same kind of ammunition in the car, according to analysis of the incident and detail reports.
At least one of the guns used in the shooting was used in previous incidents, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in the sheriff’s office report.
