Man shot outside a Kroger grocery store in Macon. What to know
A man was shot outside of a grocery store in Macon Wednesday night, deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said.
Addison Einhorn, 32, was shot outside of the Kroger on the 200 block of Tom Hill Blvd. just after 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He was “walking behind a group of individuals in Kroger’s parking lot when one of the individuals from the group turned around and fired shots at him,” deputies said Thursday.
However, deputies alleged that Einhorn was uncooperative and unwilling to give deputies information on his identity.
Though it was unclear whether Einhorn was shot, it was confirmed by medical staff when he was transported to a local hospital, according to deputies. He is in stable condition.
That Kroger location is open until 11 p.m., according to the store’s website. The sheriff’s office confirmed that the location was open during the incident, but didn’t know if there were customers in the area.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information or the identity of the individuals in this incident to contact them at 778-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
This is a breaking story and will be updated once more information is available.
