A husband and wife team are behind the new DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill that just opened in Warner Robins.

The new spot at 1012 Ga. 96, Suite 900, is the first restaurant for Sanjay “Sunny” Patel and his wife, Keyuri “Kelly” Patel, who make their home in Warner Robins.

His brother and sister-in-law, Kelvin and Nikki Patel, and aunt, Sandy Patel, also work or help out at the restaurant.

“Just very happy to serve here,” Sunny Patel said the day before the restaurant opened Saturday. “Excited.”

The restaurant is in the same shopping center and next to the new Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom that opened three days earlier.

What to expect at DosBros

At DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill, guests build their own burritos, bowls, salads, nachos, tacos and quesadillas as they go down a front counter to make their choices in a similar fashion to a Subway sandwich shop.

Protein choices include chicken, steak, carnitas pork, barbacoa beef, spicy tofu, veggie and spicy chicken.

Toppings include rice, beans, salsa, corn salsa, cheese, sour cream, romaine lettuce, guacamole and queso.

Chips with queso, guacamole or salsa can be ordered separately or as a meal combo that also includes a drink.

Beverages include Pepsi brand bottled and fountain drinks, bottled Mexican Coca-Cola and Jarritos, bottled water, tea, and Gatorade.

The restaurant also offers a “Lil’ Bros” menu for kids that includes chips, queso and a drink of apple juice or a kid’s fountain drink.

‘Quick and healthy food options’ on the menu

DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill bills itself to offer “quick and healthy food options” such as “meats with no hormones added,” “chips cooked in non-GMO sunflower oil,” and “food cooked in rice bran oil.”

Patel noted that everything is made fresh in-house, including fire-roasted peppers, guacamole, salsa and whole beans soaked and cooked on site daily.

The restaurant’s offerings also include gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options that are denoted on the menu.

Patel’s favorite menu item is the veggie bowl that he loads up with toppings.

The restaurant is currently offering a $7.99 special on Mondays that excludes nachos and quesadillas.

The restaurant can seat up to 40 people.

DosBros is new to Middle Georgia

The DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill in Warner Robins is the first to open in Middle Georgia and the fourth in Georgia. The other three locations in the state are in Marietta, Rome and Dalton.

Today, DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill has more than 40 locations, mostly in the Southeast, as well as in Chicago, two in India and one in Canada, according to Allman.

The Warner Robins location is currently in its soft opening with a grand opening expected to be announced down the road.

The new spot offers dine-in, takeout, online ordering, and catering. Third-party delivery is coming. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The number is 478-287-2116.
