Several restaurants are under construction in Warner Robins, including three new dining options coming to a shopping center expansion.
Here’s a snapshot of 5 projects:
Century Market Plaza — A pizzeria, a Bubble tea spot and an ice cream shop are expected to open in the second phase of this shopping center under construction at 810 Ga. 96 in south Warner Robins. The 9,600 square-foot addition is expected to be completed within a couple of months. Four other retail spaces within the building are available for lease.
Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux — A Cajun restaurant with ties to NFL legend Drew Brees is going up at Rigby’s Water World in Warner Robins. The restaurant franchise touts its made-from-scratch Louisiana cuisine and family-friendly, game-day atmosphere. The new restaurant is now expected to open in late 2022 or early 2023.
Chick-fil-A— This popular chicken sandwich restaurant is opening soon at 621 Russell Parkway. The new store with all the bells and whistles, including a double-lane drive-thru, is replacing the 1867 Watson Blvd location that opened its doors February 1992. The new Chick-fil-A in Perry 1363 Sam Nunn Blvd. is already doing a brisk business.
Jack’s — Known for its Southern hospitality and fresh buttermilk biscuits made from scratch, Jack’s Family Restaurants is opening this spring a location at 1284 South Houston Lake Road. The 3,257-square-foot restaurant will include a large open dining room capable of seating 68 people with a window through which guests can watch biscuits being made. The restaurant is now targeted to open May 31.
McAlister’s Del — Known for its sandwiches, spuds and sweet tea, this new restaurant at 760 Ga. 96 in the Bonaire community is now open. To celebrate, the fast casual chain restaurant is giving away free 30-day tea passes to the first 50 guests on opening day Tuesday. Each pass entitles the guest to one free tea per day for 30 consecutive days through the McAlister’s app. Restaurant hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
