New breakfast, lunch & cocktail restaurant open in Macon. See where & what’s on the menu
Feeling toasty, Macon? Well, don’t fret because this new restaurant will have you warm and full, no doubt.
Toasted Kitchen & Cocktails is now open for business.
“Been a long time coming,” said owner Rick Howard on Facebook. “We are now open!”
The restaurant is located at 5437 Bowman Road, Suite 100 in Macon.
Howard and his fiancé Weatherly Haslam made Toasted Kitchen from their own ideas of bringing a brunch spot to the “underserved” area and making it like a 1920s cigar lounge with elevated dining and fun cocktails.
Some delicious items on the menu include avocado toast, chicken and waffles, stuffed french toast, a steak sandwich and a fried chicken sandwich. There’s also a kids menu that offers waffles, chicken fingers, grilled cheese and more.
But we couldn’t help but notice the beautifully crafted cocktails, too. From classic mimosas to a Bloody Mary or the ever-so popular espresso martini, there are plenty of options for morning drinks.
“One of the things we’re most looking forward to is offering a full bar along with breakfast, brunch and lunch service,” according to the restaurant’s Facebook page. “We’ll also have a lounge area if you plan to stay awhile.”
