After nine days of meaty feasting, here are the winners of Macon Burger Week 2024

Macon foodies, you ate and you voted. And now, this year’s Macon Burger Week winners are in.

There were 29 burgers from local Macon restaurants and 9 days to eat them, from Nov. 1-9, 2024.

The votes are officially in and here’s what to know:

Who won this year’s Macon Burger Week?

The People’s Choice Award for Macon Burger Week 2024 has been awarded to Grey Goose Players Club for their Clubhouse Champ burger. It had a hand-pattied burger, topped with lettuce, caramelized red onions, Aupoivre sauce & Swiss cheese all on a toasted bun.

“The Grey Goose Players Club has officially been knighted as burger royalty,” said Macon Burger Week’s Facebook page.

Grey Goose also won in 2023 with its Hot Shot burger.

Additionally, a very honorable (and meaty) mention goes to H&H’s burger week entry called the Soul Stacked Burger, which won the Cleverly Creative Award in this year’s competition.

“Hats off to H&H for bringing the Cleverly Creative flair to Macon Burger Week 2024–where burgers transcend expectations and creativity reigns supreme,” the competition posted on Facebook.

Macon Burger Week officials also recognized the top five restaurants that received the most votes in this year’s competition:

  1. Grey Goose Players Club
  2. Kudzu Seafood Company
  3. H&H
  4. Cashman’s Pub
  5. Macon Water Ice
