And the winner is... Here’s who you said had the best ice cream in the Macon area

Banana split, mint chocolate chip, rocky road. With ice cream, there are endless possibilities.

And there’s nothing like visiting your favorite hometown ice cream shop to get a scoop (or two or three).

But which ice cream shop is the best in the Macon area? Well, we asked and you voted in our bracket. We started with 15 ice cream shops in the Macon area, including ones in Forsyth and Warner Robins. Now, it’s time to see who won.

In the final round, it was between Sweet Eleanor’s Divine Desserts and Marble Slab Creamery in Macon. Here’s who you chose as the winner…

Sweet Eleanor’s Divine Desserts

“We are thrilled to receive this acknowledgement,” said Scott Mitchell, owner of Sweet Eleanor’s. “We currently have a rotating selection of gelato that always includes vanilla, chocolate and strawberry with seasonal favorites like strawberry cheesecake and maple butter pecan.”
