A second person is charged with murder in the slaying of a 26-year-old woman shot dead at a house party in Macon’s Unionville neighborhood Saturday.

Antwan Sherrod Lamar was arrested Wednesday just before 2 p.m. by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal’s Southeastern Regional Task Force.

The 24-year-old is the second to be charged in the killing of Talesha Sierra Taylor, who was slain outside 808 Patton Ave. just before 4 a.m.

Taquilla Renee Brown, 25, was arrested the same day of the killing and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.

Investigators learned Lamar knew Taylor and Brown and “was involved in the death of Taylor,” according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

The homicide is still being investigated, and anyone with information is urged to call the sheriff’s office at 478-751-7500, or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
