He shot 5 people last year in Warner Robins. He’ll spend 13 years in prison

A 20-year-old Warner Robins man who shot five people at a house party last July was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years in prison.

Diamante Dominique Dargan, who pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, will spend 13 years behind bars and another seven on probation, according to a news release from Houston County District Attorney George Hartwig.

Dargan fired shots inside a house on Magnolia Avenue after an argument broke out at a party there just after 11:15 p.m. July 13, 2016, according to Telegraph archives. Their injuries were not life threatening.

Ke-Asha Aukievia Smith, 15, was shot in her abdomen. Xavier Mandriez Chappell, 21, was shot in his hip. Ashley Cierra Perry, 22, was shot in her lower leg. Shaquitta Denise Swanson, 24, was shot in her foot. Joseph Chappell, 28, was shot in his buttocks.

Smith was taken to a Macon hospital, but the others drove personal cars to the Houston Medical Center.
