Three women and two men were shot late Wednesday night in Warner Robins.

According to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department, investigators believe a fight led to gunfire just before 11:20 p.m.

All of the victims, aged 15 to 28, were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Ke-Asha Aukievia Smith, 15, was shot in her abdomen. Xavier Mandriez Chappell, 21, was shot in his hip. Ashley Cierra Perry, 22, was shot in her lower leg. Shaquitta Denise Swanson, 24, was shot in her foot. Joseph Chappell, 28, was shot in his buttocks, police said.

Smith was taken to a Macon hospital. The others drove personal cars to the Houston Medical Center, where the vehicles were enclosed by yellow crime scene tape.

Though police have a suspect, the person’s name was not released.
