Identity released of man found dead on job in Crawford County
A man who died on the job Monday has been identified.
Richard Carl Anderson, 62, of Peach County was found dead at Atlanta Sand & Supply Co. after he had apparently fallen into a hopper, according to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
The U.S. Department of Labor Mine Safety and Health Administration and the sheriff’s office are investigating the incident, which was reported about 5:20 a.m. at the Sand Pit Road facility.
