Georgia fans can attend the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans for less than $10

Georgia fans can attend the Sugar Bowl for a remarkably low price.

According to StubHub, tickets for fifth-ranked Georgia’s matchup against No. 8 Baylor start at just $6, before taxes and fees, for upper deck end zone seats. Ticket prices dip even further on ticket aggregator and marketplace SeatGeek, where tickets can be purchased for $4 excluding taxes and fees.

Upper deck terrace seats are selling for around $7, and club level corner seats can be bought for just over $30.

Here are the starting prices for bowl games featuring other SEC teams as of Dec. 20 (all prices via SeatGeek):

  • Texas Bowl (Oklahoma State vs. Texas A&M): $32
  • Peach Bowl (LSU vs. Oklahoma): $108
  • Music City Bowl (Louisville vs. Mississippi State): $11
  • Orange Bowl (Florida vs. Virginia) $69
  • Belk Bowl (Virginia Tech vs. Kentucky): $23
  • Citrus Bowl (Alabama vs. Michigan): $63
  • Outback Bowl (Auburn vs. Minnesota): $73
  • Gator Bowl (Tennessee vs. Indiana): $29
  • 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship: $1,173

Georgia went into last season’s Sugar Bowl against the Texas Longhorns with a chip on their shoulder after falling to Alabama in the SEC Championship and receiving a No. 5 ranking in the CFP. The Bulldogs lost 28-21.

Baylor will be making its first Sugar Bowl appearance since 1957, when the Bears upset No. 2-ranked Tennessee, 13-7. The Bears also have not faced Georgia since 1989, according to the university. The game will also be Baylor’s third trip to a BCS/New Year’s Six Bowl Game (2013 Fiesta Bowl, 2014 Cotton Bowl) and its first under head coach Matt Rhule.

At 11-2, Baylor could set a school record for single-season wins with a win over the Bulldogs.

Kickoff is set for 8:45 p.m. EST. The game will be televised on ESPN.
