Here’s the list of confirmed signees for Georgia Bulldogs
Early signing period has officially begun.
The Georgia Bulldogs enter the period with the No. 6 recruiting class and have 15 verbal commits.
We’ll update this page throughout the day as Georgia recruits sign on the dotted line and make their choice official.
All ratings are by the 247Sports.com composite rankings.
Mekhail Sherman
5-star | Washington, D.C. | OLB
Sherman has been the long-time alpha of the Bulldogs’ 2020 class, so it was only fitting for the linebacker to be the first signee on Wednesday morning. Sherman ranks as the second-best outside linebacker nationally and built a strong relationship with co-defensive coordinators Dan Lanning and Glenn Schumann.
Warren Brinson
4-star | Bradenton, FL | DT
Brinson committed twice to the Bulldogs, just over four months from when he renounced his pledge. After surveying other options, including Tennessee and Miami, the IMG Academy product opted to give Georgia more depth at defensive line. He stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 290 pounds.
Nazir Stackhouse
4-star | Decatur, GA | DT
Stackhouse served as the base of the Bulldogs’ 2020 recruiting class. This long-term pledge was one of the first to jump on Early Signing Day and held offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech and others.
Devin Willock
3-star | Paramus, NJ | OG
Newly-named offensive line coach Matt Luke did the heavy lifting to add Willock. The previous Penn State pledge had a strong relationship with the former Ole Miss coach, and Luke’s efforts were enough to replace the vacancy left by now-Florida commit Joshua Braun.
Carson Beck
4-star | Jacksonville, FL | Pro-style QB
Georgia has another quarterback in the fold for competition this upcoming season. Junior quarterback Jake Fromm has yet to decide on his NFL draft future, but Beck could be a viable option if Fromm’s does leave. Beck would compete with two 2019 signees — Stetson Bennett and D’Wan Mathis. Georgia remains in the running for C.J. Stroud, a four-star quarterback out of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
Major Burns
4-star | Baton Rouge, LA | S
If you can’t beat them, then sign someone out of their backyard. Burns, previously committed to LSU, surprised the fan base with a last-minute commitment on Tuesday evening. He also had interest and in-home visits with Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher.
Jalen Kimber
4-star | Arlington, TX | CB
Kimber, at 6-foot, fits the speedy mold of cornerbacks that the Bulldogs desire. He registered a 4.4-second 40-yard dash at The Opening Finals and ranks as the eighth-best cornerback nationally. Georgia won the recruiting battle over Alabama, Florida and others.
Chad Lindberg
4-star | League City, TX | OT
Lindberg had Georgia fans on edge Tuesday night with a “big announcement” on Twitter. Some thought he might go join his would-be offensive line coach Sam Pittman at Arkansas, especially due to close proximity to Texas. Georgia, however, held its ground and landed Lindberg.
Justin Robinson
4-star | McDonough, GA | WR
Robinson hails from Eagles Landing Christian Academy — a GHSA A powerhouse. He has been committed to Georgia since March 2.
Marcus Rosemy
4-star | Fort Lauderdale, FL | WR
There’s something about James Coley and his connections to South Florida. His ability to add premier prospects from the area never wavers. Florida served as Rosemy’s other contender as he took an official visit, but Georgia’s appeal to players around Miami couldn’t be denied.
Jalen Carter
4-star | Apopka, FL | DT
Carter has been committed to Georgia since May. The Orlando-area native weighs in at 301 pounds and is the sixth-ranked defensive tackle nationally. The Bulldogs lose a number of linemen next season — David Marshall, Tyler Clark, Michael Barnett and other reserves.
Tate Ratledge
4-star | Rome, GA | OT
Georgia had to fight for Ratledge after the departure of Pittman. But a helicopter ride up I-75 to the Darlington School must’ve remedied all concerns. Smart and Luke swayed Ratledge and family to stick to the pledge. Ratledge has been a long-time Bulldog commit and one of the biggest pieces among the offensive line haul.
Jared Zirkel
3-star | Kerrville, TX | PK
Georgia can say farewell to the famed specs of Rodrigo Blankenship. His replacement is on board. Zirkel, with a skewed star rating due to being a place-kicker, won the Golden Boot with a 60-yard field goal and hit a 70-yarder in a private lesson, according to his KickingWorld.com profile. He will compete with specialist Jake Camarda for the role this upcoming fall.
Kendall Milton
5-star | Clovis, CA | RB
Milton is supposed to be the next installment into Georgia’s so-called “RBU” pipeline. Assuming the early departure of NFL-bound D’Andre Swift, Milton will compete with Zamir White and Kenny McIntosh for playing time. Milton combined for 50 touchdowns in his sophomore and junior seasons.
Arian Smith
4-star | Lakeland, FL | WR
Georgia has replenished its wide receiver unit after Smith joins Rosemy as the Florida-based signees at receiver. He wore a black Georgia hat to reveal his announcement on ESPN. Georgia hosted Smith on its last official visit weekend, and swayed Smith to come to Athens over Alabama and other premier programs. Smith is a track star with a 100-meter time of 10.39 seconds.
Jermaine Burton
4-star | Calabasas, CA | WR
Georgia got two flips from LSU in one day. Burton joined Burns as former Tiger commits to make the switch to Georgia. He is the second signee from California, joining Kendall Milton. Burton ranks as the eighth-best receiver nationally and hasn’t signed his letter-of-intent as of 5 p.m.
Austin Blaske
3-star | Guyton, GA | OT
Blaske made his announcement to close the festivities. He flipped from NC State after being aggressively recruited by Luke. Georgia offered Blaske after Luke accepted the Bulldogs’ coaching position. Blaske’s addition could mean a change in destination for two commitments — Broderick Jones or Sedrick Van Pran — who plan to sign in February.
