How cold will it get in Macon this week? Freezing low temperatures will linger
Colder temperatures are already here, making it feel like Jack Frost made his way through Macon just in time to welcome December.
We’ve already seen 30-degree nights and mornings this month, but the coldest air is on its way.
The National Weather Service says Macon and the Middle Georgia area was expected to see some of the coldest temperatures Monday night going into Tuesday morning.
“The coldest air of the season thus far will arrive tonight,” the NWS said on X Monday. “Winds at 5-15 mph will make it feel like the teens and 20s overnight into early Tuesday morning.”
In Macon, lows were expected to dip as low as 22 degrees Monday night and early Tuesday, according to the NWS.
What about the rest of the week?
