Where you live matters — from the quality of the neighborhood to the school district, amenities around, crime rates and more. And when you find a good place to live, it can make life so much easier.

Niche just found the best places to live in America for 2026 based on the “overall livability of an area.” Niche came up with this list by scoring cities in categories like diversity, health, family, outdoor activities, job opportunities and more; cities were then graded and ranked.

So, did any cities in Georgia make the list? Actually, yes. One Georgia city made the number one spot. Here’s more:

Which GA city was ranked the best to live in for 2026?

Atlantic Station in Atlanta, Georgia ranked the best city to live in America for 2026, but why?

Well, the city has an A+ overall Niche grade, with an A+ in the family category, A+ in nightlife and A in public schools. Atlantic Station also got an A in categories of health and fitness, commute and outdoor activities.

“Living in Atlantic Station offers residents a dense urban feel and most residents own their homes. In Atlantic Station there are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks,” according to Niche.
