Destructive storms’ aftermath captured in photos and on video in Georgia

Severe weather brought tornadoes and destruction to Georgia early Monday, knocking out power, tearing up homes and businesses and killing at least seven people.

Tornadoes touched down across the state, including Atlanta, Fulton and Chattooga counties, The Macon Telegraph reported.

In Murray County, at least six died, the outlet reported, and a seventh person was killed in Bartow County after a tree came crashing onto their home.

Photos and videos taken capture the fierce power of the storms, and show the damage they left behind.
