Macon’s Jason Aldean will perform at Donald Trump’s Liberty Ball following inauguration

Macon native Jason Aldean will perform at the Liberty Ball following President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, according to a press release from the inaugural committee for Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

The Liberty Ball will follow the inauguration on Monday as part of three inaugural balls celebrating Trump’s return to the White House.

In addition to Aldean, other big-name country stars including Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Billy Ray Cyrus will perform during the inauguration and the festivities following.

Aldean was a vocal supporter of Trump during his 2024 campaign.

During an October concert at Atrium Health Amphitheater, Trump made an on-screen appearance and falsely claimed he won Bibb County in the 2020 election.

On Election Day, Aldean also made a post on his Facebook page encouraging fans to support Trump.

“As a father and an American citizen, I want to see our country get back to its values and principles that made us so great to begin with,” Aldean wrote.
