Person of interest sought in slaying of Tootie Roberts

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 23-year-old man in connection with the slaying of 14-year-old Ta'Shuntis "Tootie" Roberts in December.

Investigators want to talk with Zerrick Deiontrey Hampton regarding the drive-by shooting that took place on Dec. 13 on Lindwood Drive and resulted in Roberts' death.

Anyone with knowledge of Hampton's whereabouts is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff's Office at 751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the on-call investigator or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
