Man arrested in brother’s shooting at Macon apartment complex, deputies say

A 23-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with the death of his brother, who was fatally shot in April at a Macon apartment complex, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Donnie Williams Brown Jr. turned himself in on Thursday morning in connection with the shooting death of his brother Jordan Darnell Brown, 20. Donnie Brown allegedly shot Jordan Brown at Waverly Pointe Apartments on Forest Hill Road on April 21, according to a news release from BSO.

He was charged with involuntary manslaughter and pointing a pistol at another. Brown is being held at the Bibb County Jail without bond.

It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
