A third suspect was arrested in connection with a shooting death on Florence Avenue, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.

Deputies took Otis Wesley Hill, 29, into custody just before 11 a.m. Wednesday from a house in the 1900 block of Clinton Road. Authorities alleged that Otis Hill was “wanted in connection with the death of Shavis Adams,” who died on Feb. 21, the news release said.

Jeremi Devontrey Hill, 31, was the first to be arrested in Adams’ death, deputies said. He was captured on Feb. 27 in Americus with the help of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Both of the suspects face murder charges. Bibb County deputies confirmed that the Hills are brothers.

Malik Mikael Jenkins, 29, was the second suspect to be arrested. Deputies spotted him driving a U-Haul at the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Ell Street on Feb. 27. After a traffic stop, Jenkins was arrested, charged with murder and taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies urge anyone with information on the shooting death to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.

“To be clear, guns should never be used to settle petty arguments,” Sheriff David Davis said. “But when they are, we will be coming for you.”
