Man arrested in death of woman at Warner Robins home, police say
A man was charged with murder hours after a woman was found dead Wednesday in an apparent domestic dispute in Warner Robins, police said.
The incident was related to family violence, police said in a news release. Warner Robins police officers initially responded to a welfare check around 7 a.m. at a home on the 100 block of Kay Drive.
Krystal Gilbert, 34, was found dead in the home, and Brandon Diaz, 31, is the only suspect, according to the news release.
Diaz was also in the home and “unresponsive” when officers arrived, the WRPD said.
Diaz was booked in jail and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault, police said.
The house was surrounded by crime scene tape Wednesday afternoon while the incident was under investigation.
