More suspects arrested in Macon bar shooting. 17 year old faces murder charges
Two more people have been arrested in a deadly shooting that happened at Midtown Daiquiri Bar and Grill in Macon last month, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday.
The shooting, which happened at midnight on May 18, left three dead and six wounded. Jarrius Terrell Curry, 28, was arrested Friday just before 3 p.m. and charged with five counts of aggravated assault in connection to the shooting, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday, the sheriff’s office’s SWAT team also detained a 17-year-old and charged him with three counts of murder, the sheriff’s office said.
Both suspects were being held without bond and were detained at the Bibb County Jail Sunday, the sheriff’s office said.
The incident was still under investigation Sunday. There are now three suspects who have been arrested in the case. The sheriff’s office previously announced it had obtained arrest warrants for Muchman Bond III, who was detained in South Carolina on a drug charge and was still in custody there when the sheriff’s office got the warrants.
