Man shot multiple times outside a Macon apartment complex

A 34-year-old man was shot multiple times outside a Macon apartment complex late Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Brad Baker, was able to drive himself from Green Meadows Townhouses at 3867 Log Cabin Drive to a nearby Circle K at 3391 Mercer University Drive, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

He was then taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, where he was listed in critical but stable condition Thursday morning.

He was shot during a fight in the parking lot of the apartment complex about 10 p.m. No suspect information was available, the release said.

This is the second shooting in just over 24 hours in Macon.

Amanda Micelle Peavy-Davis, 28, was shot outside a Krystal’s on Riverside Drive by her estranged husband late Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s office. She was in stable condition Thursday.

Trevon Lamar Davis, who was described by authorities as “armed and dangerous,” remained at-large Thursday morning. He’s wanted in the Tuesday night shooting on two charges of aggravated assault.

Anyone with information about the shootings or the whereabouts of Davis is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751 -7500, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
