‘Armed and dangerous’ man wanted in shooting outside a Krystal’s in Macon

The estranged husband of a 28-year-old woman was being sought by authorities after a shooting Tuesday night outside a Krystal’s in Macon.

Trevon Lamar Davis, described by authorities as “armed and dangerous,” was wanted on two counts of aggravated assault in the 9:20 p.m. incident in the restaurant’s parking lot at 892 Riverside Drive.

He was described as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. He has brown eyes.

According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, the woman had just gotten inside a friend’s car when Davis walked up and began firing into the vehicle.

She was struck multiple times times and taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health. Her friend, a 63-year-old man from Jeffersonville who was giving her a ride home, was not hurt. Davis fled before deputies arrived on scene.

Deputies were summoned to the hospital after the incident in reference to a person shot.
