Bibb County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible homicide reported late Monday afternoon.

EMS and Macon-Bibb fighters responded to the 4400 block of Pharr Avenue just before noon where a man was found dead inside a house.

According to initial reports there was blood at the scene, but no further information was immediately available.

A reporter saw two women leave the crime scene, and one of them told neighbors: “He’s dead. They robbed him.”
