Lt. Randy Gonzalez confirmed authorities are investigating the death at 4432 Pharr Avenue as a homicide. The body was found shortly before noon Monday.

“There’s blood everywhere,” Bibb County Coroner Leon said.

Investigators canvassed the neighborhood to interview people who may have known the victim.

One woman leaving the crime scene was overheard telling a neighbor, “He’s dead. They robbed him.”
