Adult store employee, spouse indicted in armed robbery

A Macon woman and her husband were indicted Tuesday in an armed robbery at the adult store on Emery Highway where she was working.

Whitney Taylor Frost, 23, and her husband, 30-year-old Russell Scott Frost, were each indicted in the Aug. 5 robbery in Bibb County Superior Court, according to a news release from District Attorney David Cooke’s office.

Russell Frost allegedly was wielding a knife when he demanded money from the cash register in a robbery caught on the store’s surveillance cameras.

Whitney Frost, of Lindsey Lane, was not working at the time. Another employee was behind the counter and did not know about the set up.

The robbery was caught on surveillance cameras and the wife identified her husband as the culprit, the warrant stated.

Whitney Frost identified her husband as the culprit.

It isn’t the first time the adult sex store has been robbed in an apparent inside job.

In August 2009, Randy Joseph Clark was working as a cashier at the store when he reportedly faked an armed robbery to steal money. According to Telegraph archives.

Clark and his roommate, Russell Alan Lewis Jr., conspired together to rob the place. Clark was charged with false report of a crime and fiduciary theft.
