A 17-year-old man accused of a recent stickup at a dollar store on Pio Nono Avenue was arrested late Thursday afternoon.
Jamaughnee Marino Duncan, along with an unnamed or unknown accomplice, are accused of toting shotguns inside Dollar General at 3824 Pio Nono Avenue on Dec. 1 and robbing the store, according to an arrest warrant from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The store clerk couldn’t get into the safe, so the gunmen, both wearing masks and black hoodies, got money from the cash register and fled north on foot, according to a Dec. 2 news release from the sheriff’s office. No one was injured in the robbery.
Duncan admitted to his friends that he’d taken part in the stickup, the warrant says.
It was unclear Friday night whether the second suspect had been arrested.
