The new Texas Roadhouse in Warner Robins is now hiring, with plans to open in mid-May, the company announced Monday.

A familiar face will be leading the new team at the 7,900-plus square foot restaurant at 4070 Watson Blvd. Amie Coleman, a veteran employee of the Macon location, is the managing partner of the new Texas Roadhouse.

The restaurant is accepting applications online at becomearoadie.com. Interviews are taking place at a hiring trailer behind the restaurant from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Saturday.

About 200 positions are expected to be filled, according to the announcement.

The Warner Robins restaurant is a new build between Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q and La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham.

Texas Roadhouse is known for its hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, made-from-scratch sides, fresh-baked bread and a variety of margaritas.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, the restaurant chain also has two sister restaurants, Bubba’s 33 and Jaggers.

Once open, the restaurant is expected to serve dinner every night but open for lunch only Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hours will be 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Founded by Kent Taylor in 1993, Texas Roadhouse has more than 650 locations in 49 states and 11 foreign countries. The company also has 50 Bubba’s locations 33 in 15 states and more than 10 Jaggers locations in multiple states.
