Boasting real butter, eggs and cream cheese, Nothing Bundt Cakes is coming to Warner Robins
A Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise is coming to the Century Market Plaza in Warner Robins.
The new bakery will be located in the space formerly occupied by the Emporium in Phase 1 of the shopping plaza at 810 Ga. 96 in Warner Robins, said Roger Patel, plaza owner.
Known for handcrafted bundt cakes made with real butter, eggs and cream cheese, the new franchise is owned by sisters Sandy Kahley and Heather Jordan.
The bakery is expected to open this summer.
Baked fresh on site
Here’s what foodies can expect when the new bakery opens, according to a Nothing Bundt Cakes marketing representative:
- Various-sized cakes from full-sized to miniature to bite-sized by the dozen as well as tiered cakes for large celebrations.
- Nine different classic flavors of bundt cakes from chocolate chocolate chip to red velvet to white chocolate raspberry are expected to be baked fresh on site. A featured flavor will also be available to choose from.
- All the cakes are adorned with a signature cream cheese frosting with a choice of thick frosting petals or a delicate drizzle.
- A variety of cakes are expected to be available daily in the shop. Cakes for holidays and celebrations with handcrafted decorations also are expected to be sold by special order.
Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in 1997 in Las Vegas by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz who joined home kitchens baking for family and friends. Today, there are nearly 450 locations in the U.S. and Canada, including 14 in Georgia. The closest is in McDonough.
Century Market Plaza expansion
Meanwhile, Phase II of the Century Market Plaza is now under construction with a pizzeria, a Bubble tea spot and an ice cream shop coming to the 9,600 square-foot addition.
Four other retail spaces within the building are available for lease. The building is expected to be completed in a couple of months.
Here are the tenants of Phase 1 that are already on site:
- Cinnaholic — A vegan bakery most known for its gourmet cinnamon rolls with 20 frosting flavors and a variety of fresh toppings.
- 96 Vietnamese Cuisine— A restaurant that bills itself to offer authentic Vietnamese dishes from a bowl of pho, a noodle soup, to gà xào sả ớt, a chicken dish with tangy lemongrass and spicy chilis, according to its website.
- Lush Nail Spa — A full service nail salon offering nail enhances, manicures, spa pedicures, waxing and eyelash services. They also offer manicures and spa pedicures for children.
- Tech Rescue — Formerly known as Smart Phone Repair and soon to get a new sign with its new name, this small business fixes electronics from cellphones to tablets to computers for companies and individuals, said owner Jacob Bryant.
- Glow Facial Bar— Offering “a new twist to your traditional facial experience,” this facial bar offers skincare services such as facials, peels, waking, brow tinting and lash extensions by trained professionals, according to its website.
- Baja Fresh Mexican Grill — An American chain of fast-casual Tex Mex restaurants. This restaurant location is temporarily closed due to a “tenant problem” but is expected to reopen within three months under a new franchisee, Patel said.
The entire shopping center, including both phases, sits on about 2.5 acres. For leasing information, contact a leasing agent at Patel’s company, Dhanraj Properties, at 478-397-1965.
