The Cherry Blossom Festival is back for 2026 in Macon from Mar. 20-29th.

Macon is known as the cherry blossom capital of the world and each year around this time, Macon becomes a “pink, cotton-spun paradise” where “hundreds of thousands of Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory.”

The festival attracts visitors from all over the city, across the state and surrounding states to enjoy festival attractions like the Cherry Blossom Ball, Air Dogs Diving Competition, parade, live music, rides and food vendors.

But before you go, there are some things to know, like where to park and rules for festival-goers. Here’s what to know:

Where should I park at the Cherry Blossom Festival?

A festival map is available online, which shows locations of attractions, parking and restrooms.

Parking for the festival will be available downtown on Cherry Street as well as Riverside, Coliseum Drive and outside of Carolyn Crayton Park.

What rules should I know at the festival?
