After delivery delays due to Hurricane Irma, the U.S. Postal Service announces normal operations have resumed in most of Georgia and north Florida.

The post office’s processing infrastructure is up and running and mail is moving.

The only Georgia areas still experiencing disruptions are Savannah, St. Simons Island, Sapelo Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island, Woodland and Ft. Stewart.

Mail delivery also will be delayed in Jacksonville and Orange Park in Florida.
