Here are the roads that will be closed Saturday for Allman processions

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office announced which parts of downtown Macon will be closed Saturday for Gregg Allman’s funeral procession.

Parts of roads will be closed off beginning at 8 a.m. and remain closed until after the procession, which follows the 1 p.m. private funeral at Snow’s Memorial Chapel on Cherry Street.

The roads will reopen once the procession passes each intersection on its way to Rose Hill Cemetery.

The affected areas of roads are:

▪ Cherry Street from First Street west to New Street;

▪ First Street from Cherry Street north to Riverside Drive;

▪ Riverside Drive from First Street west to Orange Street.
