188 coronavirus cases reported in Bibb and surrounding counties. Here’s the list.

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 188 positive COVID-19 cases in Middle Georgia in its 7 p.m. update on Sunday, up one from noon Sunday.

Dodge County and Baldwin County each had an additional case in the latest update. One case in Bibb County was removed from the report.

Monroe County has its first reported death from COVID-19.

As of Sunday’s report, Peach County, Monroe and Baldwin County each have one confirmed death from COVID-19 in addition to the six in Houston County and one in Bibb County.

Here’s a breakdown of cases and deaths by county:

  • Laurens 15, 0

  • Baldwin 15, 1

  • Peach 13, 1
  • Monroe 9, 1
  • Dodge 6, 0

  • Pulaski 6, 0

  • Jones 6, 0

  • Washington 6, 0

  • Macon 4, 0

  • Twiggs 2, 0

  • Wilkinson 2, 0

  • Bleckley 1, 0

  • Crawford 1, 0

At noon the state of Georgia reported 6,742 confirmed cases and 219 deaths, with 10 in Middle Georgia.
