Two iconic mall favorites open new retail outlet locations in Warner Robins
Two iconic mainstays of enclosed shopping malls now have retail outlet locations side by side in the City Crossing shopping center in Warner Robins.
Spencer’s started as a mail order company in 1947 and later opened its first retail store in 1963 at the Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey, according to its website.
Bath & Body Works opened its first retail store in 1990 in a mall in Boston, Mass., according to its website. In August 2021, L Brands separated Victoria’s Secret and became an independent public company as Bath & Body Works.
Both Spencer’s and Bath & Body Works also have retained their locations inside the Houston County Galleria at 2930 Watson Blvd, in Centerville.
The new Spencer’s is at 2620 Watson Blvd., Suite 10, and the new Bath & Body Works is at 2620 Watson Blvd., Suite 9.
Spencer’s is known for its body jewelry, graphic T-shirts, adult novelties, lava lamps and gag gifts.
“If it’s pop culture, it’s at Spencer’s,” according to its website.
Spencer’s has more than 630 stores across the U.S., according to its website.
Bath & Body Works is known for its body care products, including fine fragrance mists, body creams, lotions, eau de parfum, body wash, hand soap and more.
It’s also known for its three wick candles billed to fill a room with fragrance for up to 45 hours.
Bath & Body Works has more than 1,900 stores in the U.S. and Canada and more than 500 international store locations, according to a Bath & Body Works news release.
The new Spencer’s and the new Bath & Body Works in Warner Robins both opened in late May.
Both brands have been expanding to retail outlets, with Spencer’s testing non-mall locations. All but about 85 of the brand’s stores remain in malls.
“Bath & Body Works has successfully transitioned to a predominantly off-mall retailer,” according to its website. “As of May 2025, its real estate portfolio remained healthy with 57% of its stores being in off-mall locations, with a target mix of 75% off-mall over time.”
