Motorists driving by a construction site at the corner of Osigian and Tom Champan boulevards near a Warner Robins fire station may have been wondering just what’s being built.

The answer is a four-story, extended stay hotel with 111 rooms and 119 parking spaces, according to site plans.

The Extended Stay America is being built on a 2.49-acre site at 101 Tom Chapman Blvd. near Bradford Place Apartment Homes, a two-story apartment complex with 200 one-, two- and three-bedroom units that was built in 1998.

The hotel will rest at the back of the property parallel to Tom Chapman Boulevard, with parking in front, according to site plans.

The hotel will have one entrance and exit off Tom Chapman Boulevard and a second off Osigian Boulevard, plans show.

Extended Stay America hotels focus on long-term stays, with amenities including fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi, on-site guest laundry and pet-friendly accommodations, according to the company website.

Extended Stay America bills itself as “the leading mid-priced extended stay hotel brand family in the U.S., with more than 650 hotels,” according to a company news release. The brand celebrated its 30th anniversary in January 2025.

The hotel site property is owned by 1008 Tom Chapman LLC, which also owns the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham property at 4080 Watson Blvd. less than a mile away, according to Houston County property records and the Georgia Corporations Division of the state’s Secretary of State office.

“I would say we definitely welcome it,” said Todd Buckelew, co-owner of Xtreme Air Mega Park, within walking distance of the hotel site. “I think that it will bring in more traffic and more people from out of town visiting (Xtreme Air Mega Park).”
