Pottery studio in Forsyth suddenly closes its doors. “I know this is probably a shock”
Bad news for pottery lovers: a pottery studio in Forsyth announced its recent closure on Facebook just a few days ago.
The studio called Goodjuju was located at 70B W. Main Street in Forsyth and opened last spring, offering everything for all ages, from pottery classes to painting ceramics.
So, why is the studio closing?
“We have decided to close our storefront. I know this is probably a shock, but I have been searching my heart for many months and have not made this decision easily,” said owner Julie McGlamery. “Please don’t be sad for us. It is not for any bad reasons.”
McGlamery said instead of keeping the studio open, she wants to focus on making her own handmade pottery. McGlamery also said she wants to work with businesses that may compliment her products.
“I am dedicated to honing my skills and bringing you the absolute best handmade pottery that I possibly can,” she said.
Goodjuju will continue to have an online presence, where customers can browse and buy McGlamery’s pottery pieces, including vases, planters and decorative boxes.
