Take a look inside new Forsyth business. Studio with candlelight yoga, hot pilates & more
If you’ve been slacking on your New Year’s resolutions, this news might motivate you: a new Pilates studio recently opened its doors in Forsyth and it offers everything from core strength classes to candlelight yoga.
The new studio called Yoga Pilates Barre is located at 36 E. Johnston Street in Forsyth and prides itself on being “a true happy hour, for all.”
“Our primary focus is to create a welcoming, inclusive space for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners,” said owner Grace Vann. “We want to create balanced and comprehensive classes that nurture both body and mind.”
Yoga Pilates Barre is designed for all adults (16+), regardless of age or condition. Whether you’re looking to advance your Pilates routine, nail one down or gain more strength and mobility, Vann said this is the place for you.
“This practice is kind on joints and amazing on building flexibility,” Vann said.
All classes focus on low impact, total body workouts, but they can also all be intensified based on your needs and expertise.
The studio currently offers morning, midday and evening classes like hot Pilates, core yoga, candlelight yoga, tabata pilates, barre and more. So, how do you know which class is right for you?
If you’re new to Pilates or want a relaxing experience, Vann recommended signing up for Candlelight Yoga, which is at a slower pace and is more restorative. And if you’re looking for weight loss or muscle tone, Vann said to stick with YP Barre.
Pricing starts at $24 for a single class or you can sign up for a 10-class pack for $175. New client packages also start at $30 and there are one-month and three-month packages available.
“We want to welcome you to the lifestyle of taking the best care of you,” said Vann.
To book a class, visit the studio’s website or call (470) 222-5015.
