The best grocery store in Macon? Here’s who you chose as the winner of our bracket
We know grocery store trips can often be filled with frustration, from increasing prices to self-checkout. However, the trip to the store can also be a pleasant and fun experience when mixed with friendly staff, clean aisles and the best deals around.
So, when we asked you to vote for your favorite grocery store in Macon, it came as no surprise that the end result was a close one.
In the final round of our grocery store bracket, it was between Kroger on Hartley Bridge Road and The Fresh Market on Forsyth Road. So, who gets bragging rights as the best grocery store in town?

Macon’s Fresh Market is located at 4357 Forsyth Road and offers “easy meals and delicious fresh foods, including restaurant-quality meat and seafood, premium produce, signature baked goods, and deli platters for any occasion.”
