Burlington is opening a store in Warner Robins & donating $5,000 to local teachers

Burlington Stores plans to open its new location Friday in Warner Robins and for the grand opening, the store plans to give away $5,000 to area teachers.

The new store, in the Crossroads Marketplace shopping center at 3060 Watson Blvd., will open at 8:45 a.m. Friday. As part of the promotion, the retailer will donate $5,000 to teachers at Centerville Elementary School, according to a news release.

“Our goal is to continue to offer communities low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of Burlington Stores, in the release. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening a new store in Warner Robins. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover big savings on a wide range of products.”

The first 100 customers following the ribbon cutting on Friday and Saturday will receive a $10 gift card to be used with their purchase, and on Sunday, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella while supplies last, according to the release.

Burlington plans to hire around 65 people for the new location in a wide range of full-time and part-time positions. To apply, visit burlingtonstores.jobs.

The store in Warner Robins will be open 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.

Burlington operates more than 930 stores in 46 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. The Fortune 500 company offers discounts of up to 60% off on apparel and accessories for men, women and children as well as home decorations.
