‘A unique opportunity for the buyer.’ Macon shopping plaza sells for over $9.1 million
A shopping plaza with 52,228-square-feet of retail and office space in Macon sold for just over $9.1 million, a commercial real estate brokerage firm announced.
Plantation Village, which includes 18 suites, is located at 6255 Zebulon Road.
“This was a unique opportunity for the buyer to acquire a strong performing asset with a value-add component due to vacancy,” Jared Kaye, first vice president of investments for Marcus & Millichap, said in a news release.
“Immediately after taking the title, the buyer was working with multiple leads to backfill the vacant spaces which speaks to the strength of the asset and market.”
Built in 2005, the shopping plaza is located on 7.88 acres.
Tenants include Moe’s Southwest Grill, Goodwill, Great Clips and T-Mobile. The shopping plaza is surrounded by national brands, including Kohl’s, Waffle House, Walgreens, Lowe’s, Walmart Supercenter and Kroger.
