Cobb DA recognizes veteran prosecutor's 40-year milestone

The Cobb District Attorney's Office has recognized Marty First, one of their senior prosecutors, on achieving a 40 years in practice milestone.

First was recently recognized by Pete Skandalakis of the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia as the longest-tenured faculty member.

He has dedicated many years to teaching the Basic Litigation Class and plans to continue sharing his knowledge for as long as he can. He taught the class a few weeks ago at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth.

Each year, First mentors younger prosecutors and interns, passing along his experience, wisdom and passion for public service.
