Jeremiah's Italian Ice to have grand opening Saturday
Jeremiah's Italian Ice will celebrate its grand opening this weekend at Mableton Walk, 5015 Floyd Road SW in Mableton.
From noon to 10 p.m., guests can enjoy half-off Tadpole, small and medium-sized treats throughout the weekend. The first 100 rewards app users to check in will receive free ice for a year, redeemable as one free small treat each month.
Saturday's celebration will include a DJ, face painting, a balloon artist, a bouncy house and appearances by Jeremiah's mascots, Scoop Frog and Jelati. A ribbon cutting hosted by Mableton Mayor Michael Owens will be at 12:30 p.m.
Jeremiah's Italian Ice is known for its rotating lineup of Italian Ice flavors, many of which are naturally dairy-free and gluten-free, along with its signature Jelati combinations layered with soft ice cream.
The Mableton location is owned and operated by Timothy Lowe and his father, Larry Lowe, a 33-year Army veteran.
Two more locations in Roswell and Buford are set to open in the next few weeks.
