Bibb County Sheriff’s Office offering gun class

Bibb County gun owners will get a chance to learn more about their firearms later this month.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office will host a Citizen’s Gun Class on Aug. 24 and 25 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at its training facility, located at 1166 Jackson Street in Macon.

Participants will learn about gun safety and gun laws, and they’ll also get the opportunity to fire their handguns, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Seats are limited, and participants must attend both nights.
