Veterans to get help in Montezuma Friday

The Macon Vet Center’s mobile center will be in Montezuma on Friday to assist veterans with any questions they may have about benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The mobile center will be at the Charles Jackson parking lot at the intersection of East Railroad Street and Spaulding Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a release.

Veterans, their families and anyone else interested is invited to pick up information about VA services and community resources available to veterans.

Veterans are encouraged to take with them a copy of their DD-214 to assist in determining eligibility for services.

Representatives of the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin will be on hand to assist veterans in enrolling in VA healthcare.
