Warner Robins police arrest 13 on illegal gambling charge

WARNER ROBINS -- Thirteen people have been arrested for felony commercial gambling, police said.

The arrests stem from a sting on illegal gambling conducted Friday at 11 businesses, a Warner Robins police news release stated.

More arrests are expected in the ongoing investigation, the release stated.

Those charged with commercial gambling include Priyankaben Bhagat, 26, Dineshchandra Patel, 56, Anita Dobson, 60, Paresh Patel, 29, Kalavati Patel, 39, Sanjay Patel, 43, Seanna Milam, 47, Rameschchandra Patel, 54, January Sweat, 33, and Hitisha Trivedi, 25, all of Warner Robins.

Also charged with commercial gambling were Billy Doolittle, 72, of Macon, and Latricia Adams, 66, and Craig Lucky, 40, both of Bonaire, according to the news release.

The search warrants were executed at 7 Star Food Mart at 699 N. Davis Drive; Phone Sweep: Gifts, Games & Billiards at 836 N. Houston Road; Bargain Shop at 1505 B Elberta Road; and the Gift Shop at 1500 B Watson Blvd., the news release stated.

The search warrants also were executed at OM Food Mart at 700 Feagin Mill Road; Seanna’s Lucky Cabin at 1801 B Watson Blvd; Frank’s Gifts at 2607 D Moody Road; DJ’s Gifts at 789 West Ga. 96; Dev’s Food Mart at 413 Belmont Drive; S&P Food Mart at 1009 South Houston Lake Road; and the Gift Shop at 800 Elberta Road, the news release stated.
